Approximate Time
Around, About
noun, suffix
The kanji and the word are exactly the same. That means they share meanings as well. When used as a suffix, it means approximate time and around (as in "around 3:00").
The reading is the same as what you learned with the kanji. Bear in mind that it's pronounced ころ when it's a noun, but it's usually ごろ when it's a suffix, though some people say ころ in both cases.
