Koto
Japanese Harp, Japanese Zither
noun
The harp, at least in Japan, is the koto, also known (to us) as the Japanese harp or Japanese zither.
The reading is the same as the one you learned with the kanji.
今けちって安い琴を買っても、どうせ後から質のいい方が欲しくなるんだから。
If you’re stingy now and you buy a cheap koto, you’ll probably end up wanting a better one later on.
